Undergraduate ambassadors

Yinuo "Jenny" Zhang is a freshman in the SFS, thinking about majoring in STIA, IPEC, or CULP. Born and raised in Beijing, China, she spent her high school first as an exchange student in Fort Worth, TX, then as an international student in Cincinnati, OH. On campus, she dances with the Georgetown Ballroom Dance Team, competes and travels with the Model United Nations Team within the International Relations Club(IRC), and works as an intern in the Office of Sustainability. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking, doing yoga, taking walks in the surrounding parks, and exploring DC with her friends.

Mali Rubin is a sophomore in the College majoring in Sociology, with minors in both Spanish and History. Born only a few minutes walk from Georgetown's front gates, Mali is a DC native who loves introducing people to her city! Mali loves to travel and has visited different parts of Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America, and has lived in both Spain and Costa Rica. When she is not studying, Mali enjoys being a member of the boxing club, kayaking on the Potomac, listening to jazz music, and eating all the good food DC has to offer with her friends!

Aidan Fallon is a sophomore in the SFS majoring in International Politics with a certificate in Justice and Peace Studies. He proudly represents the distant, enticing land of McLean, Virginia, just about 20 minutes outside of DC, (retirement) home of the football legend Art Monk and wildly overpriced sushi, so he has been a DC native for his entire life! On campus, he's involved in a lot of social justice groups, leading an alternative spring break trip in southern Tennessee, an English language tutoring program, avidly searching DC for good food, and also going for an occasional run to try to convince himself that he enjoys exercising. Aidan tutors SAT classes too, because who doesn't love standardized tests, right? He also had a buzz cut for a little while in elementary school, which will be hard to imagine after seeing pictures of him. He can’t wait to meet all of you and have a great time getting to know you while exploring Georgetown and DC!

Serena Min Kim is a senior in the College pursing a major in Government. Born in Seoul, South Korea, she has also lived in Buenos Aires (Argentina), Ottawa (Canada) and Houston, TX and Los Angeles,CA in the U. S. She loves to learn new languages and about cultural traditions. She spends her weekends going to the National Mall to do her homework and visiting art galleries in DC. She also loves to ride her bicycle to the Lincoln Memorial at night! Join her if you also love to explore DC!

Raised in Granite Falls, North Carolina, Vanessa Phillips is a sophomore in the McDonough School of Business (MSB) majoring in International Business and Marketing with a minor in Art (hopefully). She holds positions in the Dean's Office of the MSB and the Women's Center throughout the year. Vanessa is an avid foodie, animal lover, and traveler who spent most of her summer in Hong Kong. In her spare time Vanessa enjoys getting out into DC, laughing at memes, or sketching. You can often find her avoiding Lau in Sellinger with her friends awaiting the free Corp bagels.
