4. Email Complete AT Request to OGS

Attach these files to internationalservices@georgetown.edu. Do not begin any activities for the role until you receive updated DS-2019 (by email) notated for AT. Incomplete requests delay authorization. Please review OGS processing times.

For post-completion AT, include proof of funding for $3,200/month if these estimated expenses are not covered by financial compensation from AT.

Students whose programs end in December must attach proof of having obtained health insurance for the first month of AT. Students whose programs end in May have Georgetown Premier Plan health insurance through early August.

5. AT Reporting Requirements

Email OGS if your U.S. address changes during AT.

Within one week of AT end date, complete the AT Evaluation Form and ensure your supervisor and academic advisor do the same.

If you will briefly travel outside the United States and return to continue AT, consult this checklist for readmission in J-1 status.
